Hello Friends!

We are in the days of the Biblical month of Iyar, the days that are counted from the feast of Passover to the feast of Shavuot. (This can be studied in Leviticus 23) Every year these “days between” are of counting. This is done as a way of expectation and preparation, fifty days, seven weeks. The sages compare these days to being like a Bride preparing herself for her Bridegroom.

I am praying for us all today, that we also will be faithful, and found seeking the Lord to teach us,

“…teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12)

In these days here are some questions and thoughts I am asking myself…

What am I practicing? These are the things that will last, that will become more.
What am I reading? These are the people I meet, that I will become like.
What am I creating with my words? This is the reality I will live in and give away.
What am I hoping? This is what I will be faithful to.

May we be found faithful!
