Hello again!

I am so excited to share with you my first and just published book, Like a Woman in Labor.

It is a collection of prayers seeking wisdom and vision to be faithful in the work of serving and living an awake, set apart life. It is a 14-day journey based on the prayer Jesus taught his disciples. I have written it from the trenches with fellow mothers in mind, and hope also it will be a blessing and tool for woman in many kinds of discipleship and nurturing roles.

From the back cover:
In the quiet (and not so quiet), deep places in us call out to the deep of God. We often call it anxiety or fear, but it is miracle too.

A miracle of labor and birth, of spirit and truth. He invites us into this work with Him. Like a woman in labor whose pain is not pointless, our pain is an invitation that beckons us to experience the very presence of God. We were created for this communion.— Like a Woman in Labor, by Raynna Myers

The message of our ministry, the vision we want to share, and believe that you share with us, is so clear in Phillipians 3:10-14:

” (We) want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. Not that (we) have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at (our) goal, but (we) press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of (us). Brothers and sisters, (we) do not consider (ourselves)  yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing (we) do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,  (We) press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called (us) heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

Like a Woman in Labor, is a continuation of this goal and I would be blessed if it blesses you! Click here to learn more.

With you today not only while wearing The Martyrs’ Cross but also seeking the One Who hears the cry of the broken hearted. Thank you for your faithfulness!

Standing by His grace that is sufficient and His power made perfect in our weaknesses,

Raynna
