“Remember, our Message is not about ourselves; we’re proclaiming Jesus the Messiah, the Master. All we are is messengers, errand runners from Jesus for you. It started when God said, “Light up the darkness!” and our lives filled up with light as we saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful.”- 2 Corinthians 4:5-6

Hello Friends,

It’s now been a little while since you last heard from us here. We have recently moved from the Midwest out to the Pacific Northwest, a move that has felt transformative on every level, and truth be told—we’re delighted and tired.

Yet life is full of light and love even in the midst of the tire. I love the verse above and how it speaks of what was found and what we find in Messiah—God Himself. He took on the form of humanity, including the tire of it all, and through that made a window for God to be seen and understood—all bright and beautiful.

He lit up the darkness, He recreated, just as our Father in heaven originally created, and He does it again and again.

I want to send our gratefulness for your prayers for us during this time of transition, as well as to encourage us together to recreate again today—be like Jesus, who showed us the way to be like our Father in heaven. Be a window for others to see the bright and beautiful. It’s there because He is there.

It simply is because He is—truth and light. This is why the message of Messiah continues to spread all over the world and most of all in the places it is most violently opposed. Truth cannot be destroyed. When a hammer hits it only spreads, sparks of light.

As I take a deep breath in today and remember that when one part of the body suffers we all suffer with it, and when one part rejoices we too rejoice, I acknowledge our family both suffering and rejoicing. I acknowledge that we are one and in the power of the Holy Spirit I send strength and receive strength. We really are one in the Spirit. His sparks of truth are spreading everywhere, breath it in and light up the darkness in your corner of the world today.

Here’s a story shared from India by Spirit of Martyrdom to encourage you in the power that is prayer—our inheritance.

“More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of.”-Alfred Tennyson
